In this Statement, the Thai Royal Government posits. in light of laws and regulations of several states that restrict the right of innocent passage and freedom of navigation as provided by UNCLOS 1982 in their maritime zones, Thailand will comply with rights regarding freedom of navigation including innocent passage, and will not consider itself bound to those law and regulations by said states which are state-parties to UNCLOS 1982.
