This legal document contains Thailand’s Announcement of the Office of the Prime Minister concerning the straight baseline and internal water of certain areas, 12 June 1970.

This document establishes the use of straight baseline for 3 areas, called Area I, II, and III. The specific coordinates of the basepoint constituting straight baseline enclosing the internal water of each Area are provided in the document.

In 1992, the coordinate of certain basepoints of Area III was changed in the 11 August 1992 Announcement and there was a new Area IV established in the 17 August 1992 Announcement which also proclaim the use of straight baseline.
