This Agreement concludes a common tripoint as a starting point for the continental shelves boundary between any two of the three parties. The coordinates of the tripoint are Latitude 5° 57.0' N Longitude 98° 01.5' E.
Article 1 provides that the continental shelves boundary between any two of the three parties shall extend to the tripoint, with the tripoint becoming the starting point of each boundary.
